Qualifikationen

• Degree-level qualification in a communication or PR-related discipline.
• Full driving licence.
• 3+ years experience in journalism or public relations.
• Experience in media relations, press office management and crisis communications.

Aufgaben

• Support the External Communications Manager in the delivery of the Turning the Tide strategy and rebuilding South East Water's reputation.
• Pivot between multiple projects to produce high-quality communications outputs to deadline.
• Draft customer, media and stakeholder materials for projects or events, including plans, briefs, statements, press releases and social content.
• Turn complex information into clear, accessible materials for public consumption.
• Identify risks to the company's reputation and raise them with management.
• Identify opportunities for positive media coverage and arrange media events and brief spokespeople.
