Job summary

Durham County Council is seeking a forward-thinking Strategic Enterprise Architect to lead the development of our technology strategy across council services. You will shape operating models, support major transformation programmes and set architecture standards to enable resilient, efficient services for residents and staff.

Working with senior leaders and teams, you will drive digital transformation and ensure architecture aligns with the council's future vision.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required in Computer Information Systems / Computer Science or related field.
• Significant experience in enterprise architecture and digital transformation within a complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at senior levels.

• Lead and guide the development of the Council's technology strategy.
• Define future operating models and support major transformation programmes.
