Job summary

Durham County Council is looking for a forward-thinking Strategic Enterprise Architect to shape the technology strategy and guide how digital services are designed and delivered for residents, staff and communities.

You will work with senior leaders to define operating models, support major transformation programmes and establish architecture standards that enable modern, resilient and efficient services. This is a temporary role until 30 September 2029.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in enterprise architecture and digital transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the development of the Council's technology strategy.
• Define future operating models to support transformation programmes.
• Establish architecture standards for modern, resilient services.
