Job summary

BT Group in London seeks a Principal Architect to lead the technical relationship with one of BT Business’s largest UK banking customers, shaping enterprise architecture and a multi-year technology strategy and roadmap.

You will act as a trusted adviser to CIO-level stakeholders, drive governance, coordinate with commercial and delivery teams, and ensure secure, resilient solutions aligned with the customer’s evolving needs.

Qualifications

Enterprise architecture leadership: develop complex architectures, technologies and roadmaps.
Senior stakeholder leadership: communicate with C-suite stakeholders clearly.
Technical and commercial judgement: balance customer, tech and commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical relationship with the customer up to CIO level and contribute to the account leadership team.
Develop a multi-year technology and solution roadmap with key stakeholders and BT portfolio.
Manage architectural governance, identify risks and resolve issues effectively.
Provide technical leadership across virtual and operational teams, especially during major incidents.
Partner with commercial and delivery teams to create customer value and improve delivery quality.
