Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Solution Architect Specialist in Manchester to independently drive solution architecture design and mapping of business requirements, enabling successful delivery and governance across multiple workstreams.

The role focuses on delivering architected solutions that align with enterprise patterns and guardrails while mentoring others and shaping long-term strategy in a busy transformation program.

Qualifications

• Develops architectures that fit within the enterprise architecture, information architecture and integration requirements.
• Defines the architecture, product design, modules, interfaces, and data to satisfy specified requirements.
• Develops message protocols that allow distributed elements of an application to communicate.

Responsibilities

• Delivers deep technical and repeatable solutions that achieve customer requirements driving positive outcomes.
• Guides partnerships with business and operational stakeholders to conduct business and technical discovery.
• Implements robust recommendations, proposals and scope of work documents for group engagements while identifying dependencies and gaps.
• Delivers innovative and repeatable solution architectures to resolve complex problems and meet requirements.
• Facilitates stakeholders' understanding of capabilities and the transformative power of group products and technology.
• Mentors team members to improve knowledge and collateral and aligns with guardrails.
