Job Title: Strategic Energy Project Manager
Location: Warwick/Hybrid
Salary: £300-£350pd
Contract Type: Temporary until March 2026
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in the energy sector to lead Warwickshire’s Local Area Energy Plan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence sustainable energy development in the county, working with diverse stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing Warwickshire’s shift towards a low-carbon energy system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the planning, implementation, and delivery of Warwickshire’s Local Area Energy Plan
  • Building relationships with local authorities, energy infrastructure companies, industry representatives, and community groups
  • Managing budgets, timelines, and risks to ensure project success
  • Analyzing data to support decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with energy policies and regulations
  • Communicating complex information effectively
  • Identifying funding opportunities and assessing energy solutions' cost-effectiveness
  • Encouraging innovation to overcome challenges
  • Promoting environmental sustainability throughout the project
