Job summary

Peninsula Group in Manchester is seeking a confident, articulate Employment Litigation Lawyer with direct employment law experience to join the UK Legal Team. You will work closely with the employment law advisory service, the Litigation Executive team and senior leadership to deliver high standards of care to clients.

The role involves reviewing tribunal claims, drafting pleadings, managing case preparation, visiting clients and representing them at hearings across England and Wales.

Qualifications

• Direct employment law experience in tribunal work.
• UK-qualified solicitor or barrister.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Review claims in Employment Tribunal with Litigation Executive, including pleadings and bundles.
• Prepare cases for hearing and visit clients as needed.
• Advise clients on merits, settlement options, and tribunal procedures.
• Draft applications and responses; liaise with insurer where required.
• Attend hearings at various tribunals across the UK.
