The Portfolio Group is recruiting an experienced Litigation Consultant specialising in employment law to join a field-based team. The role involves managing cases across the locality with some UK travel, and opportunities to work from home.

The ideal candidate is legally qualified, confident, articulate and capable of working autonomously, with strong communication and professional standards. Collaboration with the UK Legal Team and Litigation Executive teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Advocacy experience in employment law is required.
• Experience representing clients in Employment Tribunals is essential.
• Professional legal qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review claims in Employment Tribunals with Litigation Executive.
• Represent clients in Tribunals and hearings.
• Prepare cases, write-ups and run court trials.
• Assess cases and identify risks and costs for clients.
• Represent client interests and present legal arguments.
