Melbreck Technical Recruitment is partnering with a growing manufacturing leader to recruit an Electronics Buyer in Didcot, Oxfordshire. This role focuses on day-to-day procurement to support production and supplier management.

You will ensure timely, cost-effective purchases of materials, components and services, working with a Sourcing Specialist and cross-functional teams to meet production plans. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in purchasing are preferred, with one day WFH per week

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day procurement activities supporting manufacturing.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective purchase of materials, components and services.
• Maintain production continuity by managing supplier orders and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with Sourcing Specialist and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure materials and outsourced assemblies meet production plans.
