Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting a Buyer (Electronics / Manufacturing) in High Wycombe with experience in electronics procurement. You will manage purchasing, source components and maintain supplier relationships to support production efficiency.

The role offers hybrid working after probation, £45,000–£50,000 salary, 25 days holiday, bank holidays, early Friday finish and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Background in Procurement.
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities across a small-to-medium batch manufacturing environment.
• Source and procure materials, components and supplies required for production.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and availability.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, lead times and purchasing terms.
• Support the preparation of purchasing quotations and material cost estimates.
• Liaise with Production and Engineering teams to understand material requirements.
