Job summary

Jacobs is growing its Environmental Planning team and seeks an experienced EIA professional to take on a strategic leadership role, advising clients and regulators, delivering environmental assessments and consenting support on UK's major infrastructure programmes.

You'll guide cross-disciplinary teams, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and help projects navigate planning processes, with hybrid working and clear opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects within infrastructure sectors.
• A track record of managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Chartered status, or a commitment to achieve chartership, with a relevant professional body such as ISEP, CIWEM or IES.
• A degree in an environmental, planning, scientific or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead flagship infrastructure projects across the UK.
• Guide clients through consent strategies and environmental challenges.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver environmental assessment and consenting support.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships and contribute to business success.
