Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Principal EIA Consultant to shape environmental planning across UK and Europe. You will lead environmental assessment workstreams, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and provide strategic advice to clients to deliver complex infrastructure projects.

You will mentor teams, navigate regulatory frameworks, and contribute to sustainable outcomes while aligning with Jacobs' values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in environmental, planning or scientific discipline.
• Demonstrable experience delivering EIAs for infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of environmental assessment methodologies and legislation.
• Experience with UK consenting regimes (DCO, Town & Country Planning).
• Client-facing with ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Chartered membership or commitment to achieve with Jacobs' support.

Responsibilities
