Job summary

Halfords is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director for Autocentres & Mobile Network. You will be a trusted strategic partner, helping to focus the MD’s time on high-impact priorities and turning plans into action across a fast-growing business.

You will coordinate diaries, travel, leadership meetings and major initiatives, foster engagement across teams, and remove blockers to keep priorities on track while representing the leadership team with professionalism and commercial

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Excellent organisational and planning capability with attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating multiple priorities, schedules, meetings and events.
• Commercial awareness and judgement when prioritising competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted partner to the Managing Director for highest-priority activities.
• Proactively manage a complex diary, travel and shifting priorities.
• Drive accountability across the leadership team and ensure delivery of actions.
• Lead leadership meetings, planning cycles, governance and reporting.
• Coordinate people initiatives and colleague engagement across Autocentre & Mobile Network.
• Identify risks and opportunities across multiple workstreams.
• Support priority projects and remove obstacles.
• Contribute to team culture and engagement across teams.
• Occasionally accompany the MD on visits to strengthen understanding of operations.
