Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Director to lead our Residential Valuations team in Birmingham. You will drive growth, set ambitious targets, and oversee a high-performing group of valuation professionals.

Responsibilities include expanding client relationships, delivering expert valuation advice, and ensuring quality and compliance across high-value assignments. A strategic leader with strong BD and mentorship is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Valuation, or related field.
• Professional valuation qualification (e.g., RICS, API, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in residential property valuation with leadership exposure.
• Strong track record in business development and client management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand JLL's residential valuation business.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives.
• Set and achieve ambitious team performance targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on complex valuation matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of valuation professionals.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Maintain deep knowledge of residential property markets and valuation methodologies.
• Ensure all valuations meet high standards of quality and compliance.
