Job summary

JLL in Birmingham is seeking a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join the Residential Valuation team. You will carry out valuations across property types, communicate with lenders and borrowers, and deliver high-quality reports from our Birmingham office with flexible and hybrid working.

The role requires MRICS and 1–2+ years PQE, strong data handling, and proven client relationship skills; you will lead instructions and mentor junior colleagues as part of a busy, growing team.

Qualifications

• For this role MRICS qualification is essential and 1-2+ years' PQE is expected.
• RICS Registered Valuer status is highly desirable for the valuation workload.
• Strong experience in residential property asset valuations across types.
• Excellent written English for high-quality reports in MS Word.
• Ability to build and sustain client relationships with lenders and borrowers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out valuations across a range of residential properties and instructions.
• Lead instructions, manage deadlines and communicate with clients.
• Deliver high-quality valuation reports and data analysis.
• Coach junior colleagues and supervise their work where needed.
