Job summary

South Hampstead High School – GDST is seeking a Director of Development to shape and deliver a bold fundraising and engagement strategy. The role leads major gifts, campaigns, annual giving, trusts and foundations, legacy giving, donor stewardship and alumnae engagement to widen access to transformational education.

Working with the Head and GDST colleagues, you’ll build a sustainable culture of philanthropy that strengthens lifelong connections with alumnae, parents and staff while securing

Qualifications

• Proven track record of securing major gifts.
• Experience managing donor pipelines and delivering successful campaigns.
• Credibility to work with senior stakeholders and inspire support from a wide community.

Responsibilities

• Lead major gift fundraising and campaigns, including annual giving, trusts and foundations, legacy giving and alumnae engagement.
• Develop and deliver a bold, multi-year fundraising and engagement strategy.
• Strengthen lifelong connections with alumnae, parents, staff and friends while generating philanthropic investment.
