Job summary
Euro Car Parts Limited seeks a Demand Planning Manager to steer forecast accuracy and purchasing decisions across our distribution network. You will guide the demand planning roadmap, collaborate with commercial, logistics and category teams, and ensure readiness for product launches and promotions within a large UK-centered distribution frame.
You will lead a small but capable team, drive scenario planning and continuous process improvements, and own the regional purchase forecast to optimise
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading S&OP and demand forecasting processes.
- Strong track record in inventory optimization and procurement forecasting.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.
Responsibilities
- Translate regional demand strategy into a demand planning roadmap aligned with objectives.
- Run scenario modelling to assess volatility, promotions, and financial impact.
- Improve forecast accuracy, reduce bias, and increase forecast value add regionally.
- Collaborate with senior commercial and marketing to align forecasts with strategy.
- Own readiness for product launches, promotions and discontinuations.
- Develop and coach a high-performing demand planning team.
- Own LKQ ECP's purchase forecast and related activities.
- Support stock rotation and supplier alignment on forecasting.
- Promote continuous improvement within Supply Chain.
