Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection seeks a Programme & Scientific Informatics Delivery Lead to orchestrate strategic digital initiatives across Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics and computational biology. You will coordinate PoD teams, align roadmaps with priorities and ensure incremental value delivery, while managing risks, dependencies and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex IT delivery initiatives using Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).
• Ability to coordinate multiple IT teams across workstreams.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software delivery lifecycle.
• Experience delivering in scientific/R&D data-intensive environments.
• Familiarity with Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics or Computational Biology.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication at all levels.
• Proven budget and resource-management for technology initiatives.
• Experience coordinating external delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate delivery of multi-PoD strategic initiatives across teams, products and platforms.
• Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps with Product Managers and Tech Leads.
• Drive prioritised work packages and ensure transparent execution and value delivery.
• Own delivery processes, including Agile events, risk tracking and planning.
• Resolve cross-team dependencies and vendor issues; escalate for timely resolution.
• Provide programme-wide visibility of progress, risks, dependencies and decisions.
• Establish delivery metrics and report value realisation to executives.
• Coordinate external vendor relationships and delivery commitments.
• Foster collaboration among scientific, product, technical and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to delivery-management community with best practices and reuse.
• Oversee budgets and resource planning for multi-PoD initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery maturity across teams.
• Maintain stakeholder communication cadences with sponsors and leaders.
