Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection invites a Delivery Lead to drive reliable, transparent delivery across Engineering and Technology. You will own cross-stream dependencies, prioritise incremental value, and coordinate vendor commitments within Platform Engineering, AI Enablement, and Product Engineering.

Based in a global platform with modern engineering standards, you will publish dashboards, manage risks, and lead continuous improvement to accelerate digital science delivery for crop protection R&D.

Qualifications

Must have: coordinating multi-squad engineering delivery in enterprise environments with real dependency depth and visibility.
Must have: understands CI/CD, cloud, IAM, observability, API infra, and HPC to credibly challenge delivery assumptions.
Must have: can distinguish technical, resourcing, and process risk and escalate the right issue.
Must have: adapts Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches to platform engineering; coordinates vendor delivery.
Must have: influencing without authority; credibility and leadership backing.
Must have: exceptional written communication with clear dashboards and status reports.

Responsibilities

Own the delivery rhythm across Platform Engineering and ensure ceremonies drive outcomes.
Surface and manage cross-squad dependencies inside Platform Engineering and with primary consumers.
Own day-to-day delivery coordination with vendor leads and delivery commitments.
Coordinate onboarding/offboarding of externals with Staff Engineers and surface capacity issues early.
Chair the Delivery Council and manage the cross-stream dependency register and follow-through.
Publish authoritative delivery dashboards and metrics to ensure transparency and action.
