The role and opportunity

We’ve spent many years delivering affordable and engaging money advice to thousands of customers. We’re now on a mission to transform millions of lives by partnering with the UK’s most significant financial services businesses and helping them adopt our approach so they can deliver the same transformational outcomes for their customers as we’ve been doing for years.

This is the first role of its kind in the business. You will not only run our first projects, you’ll also shape the function and create the blueprint for the future.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end implementation of a project, working alongside our sales and proposition teams. You'll be responsible for delivering the project plan, managing relationships across teams and ensuring smooth execution. This requires developing a strong understanding of our business, its interdependencies, and how client experience comes together. You’ll also spot opportunities to evolve our proposition and be our eyes and ears with new customer groups.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll balance multiple stakeholder priorities, have the gravitas to have difficult conversations with senior stakeholders, tackle ambiguous challenges, and shape the future of financial services.

Day to day you will be:


  • Leading large-scale delivery programs, ensuring smooth execution and top notch communications.
  • Owning the commercial outcomes for a partnership, taking pride in both customer happiness and margin generation.
  • Working with senior stakeholders in commercial, customer, technology, strategy, operations and legal teams to align goals, plan the project and drive progress and momentum.
  • Spotting opportunities for growth and influencing decision-makers to act on them.
  • Handling tough conversations and complex negotiations with confidence.
  • Adapting quickly to different business contexts and regulatory environments.
  • Keeping projects on track with clear communication, strong organisation, and structured governance.
  • Driving improvements that make a real difference to our business and clients.
  • Shaping our growth strategy and product through learnings from your work with each partner and by collaborating internally to explore the art of the possible

Experience Required


  • Worked in strategy consulting, change delivery or similar
  • Experience in wealth management, financial advice or banking
  • Good understanding of technology and various use cases


Nice to have (but not necessary)


  • Delivered SaaS implementations at large organisations


In return for your contribution we offer a base salary of £75,000 - £110,000 DOE + benefits

Please note, as a regulated business we are required to run background checks for all employees which covers adverse financial and unspent convictions. These will only take place upon a successful job offer.

Flexible working

We currently operate a hybrid model which is a mix of office and remote. You'll have the option of working from home 2 days per week (Monday and Friday) with the remainder from our central London office in Holborn.

Work from anywhere

We give an 18 day work from anywhere allowance to swap out the on site days or take some time working from another country. Due to regulations this does not apply to individuals that give regulated financial advice.

Share incentive plan and team bonus

Being part of Octopus we benefit from the group share incentive plan which means we can buy shares via salary sacrifice. For those who are not commission based we offer a team bonus of up to 10% provided we meet our team goals. The % allocation is determined on the basis of our collective performance.
