Strategic Defence Programme Manager

Job summary

Vercity is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead planning and delivery of a high-profile lifecycle programme within a secure MOD environment. Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will own multiple projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to exacting standards.

You will coordinate contractors and stakeholders, manage risks and change control, chair boards, and ensure H&S, CDM 2015, quality and security compliance, with opportunities to shape long-term asset strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven programme management experience in complex, high-security environments.
• Strong technical understanding of M&E systems with no single point of failure.
• Confident communicator able to lead teams and influence outcomes.
• Capable of running multiple workstreams with tight governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end programme delivery across lifecycle projects.
• Manage risks, change control, governance and reporting per PFI obligations.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and wider project teams.
• Lead technical input into variations, costings and impact assessments.
• Chair project boards and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure compliance across H&S, CDM 2015, sustainability, quality and security.
• Support long-term asset and lifecycle planning, including ISO 55001 objectives.
