Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Data Product Manager for our Central functions to shape and deliver the data strategy during a major ERP transformation. You will partner with Finance and People leaders, owning the data roadmap, ensuring analytics capabilities evolve with ERP, and building trusted relationships across functions to enable informed decision-making.

You’ll focus on long-term value, balancing strategic objectives with delivery priorities, and engaging across Data, Technology and Central teams

Qualifications

• Senior data/product/technology partnering experience with finance exposure.
• Ability to influence and gain buy-in across complex orgs.
• Experience in large multi-year transformation programmes.
• Strong executive presence and clear communication.
• Knowledge of ERP implementations and data roadmap ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the data roadmap for Central functions (Finance & People).
• Translate requirements into product priorities and delivery plans.
• Be the primary data partner for Finance and People functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead reporting, analytics, and data product delivery to improve insight and decision-making.
• Coordinate across Data, Technology and Central teams to manage dependencies.
• Provide direction for data initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
• Champion adoption of new reporting capabilities and data-enabled ways of working.
• Support governance, prioritisation and change management in ERP programme.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardise reporting processes.
