Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Data Product Manager to shape and deliver the data strategy for its Central functions, supporting a major ERP transformation. You will partner with Finance and People leaders, translating priorities into data roadmaps and delivering reporting and analytics that drive commercial outcomes.

The role requires strong data expertise, stakeholder leadership, and the ability to navigate a complex, multi-year programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior data, product, transformation or technology partnering role, with significant exposure to Finance functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence and gain buy-in across complex organizations.
• Experience delivering in large-scale, multi-year transformation programmes.
• Strong executive presence and clear communication in senior forums.
• Proven ability to develop and manage data roadmaps aligning strategy with delivery priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the data roadmap for Halfords' Central functions (Finance & People) and align with the ERP transformation programme.
• Partner with Finance and People leaders to translate requirements into clear product priorities and delivery plans.
• Act as the primary data partner for Finance and People, building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Define and deliver reporting, analytics and data products to improve insight, control and decision-making.
• Coordinate with Data, Technology and Central teams to manage dependencies and successful implementation.
• Provide ownership and direction for data initiatives, linking investments to measurable commercial outcomes.
• Champion adoption of new reporting capabilities and ways of working to maximise value from data and technology.
• Support governance, prioritisation and change management across the ERP programme.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardise reporting processes and enhance data use.
