Strategic Data Governance Lead

Remote (UK or Global) | Occasional travel

A unique opportunity for a hands-on data leader to drive transformation in a global technical services business. We’re partnering with a client in the maritime and energy sector who are shifting to a "Data First" culture, and they need you to lead the charge.

You’ll shape and execute a practical enterprise data governance roadmap, embed data ownership and stewardship across commercial, finance, and operations functions, and lead change across all levels without managing a team, but with senior-level influence.

You'll bring:

• 8+ years in data governance or strategy
• Experience with frameworks like DAMA DMBOK, GDPR, DCAM
• Change management expertise (PROSCI/CDMP certifications are a plus)
• The drive to do and deliver, not just strategize
• Ability to work remotely with flexible hours
• Ability to make a real impact on a digital transformation journey
