Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Enterprise Architect for Cybersecurity Data in Sheffield (with Birmingham 2-3 days a week). The role defines the enterprise architecture for data capabilities, platforms, and governance services, translating cybersecurity strategy into data products and decision-grade insight.

You'll lead target-state architectures, set data standards, and provide architectural governance while mentoring other architects and engineers across global teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise architecture experience in a large, complex, regulated organisation across business, data, application and technology domains.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into capability models and sequenced roadmaps.
• Strong data strategy, architecture and governance experience for enterprise-scale data services.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architectures, capability models, and transition roadmaps for Cybersecurity's data domain.
• Set data strategy, architecture, and governance standards for global big data services and shared data products.
• Provide architectural authority and assurance across major decisions and investment priorities.
• Align Cybersecurity functions, central data/technology teams, platform owners, and delivery programmes.
• Identify capability gaps, duplication, and technical debt; build cases for consolidation or investment.
• Mentor solution architects and design engineers.
