Job summary

Confidential is seeking a hands-on Technical Solution Engineer for a contract role in the UK. The role sits within the Cyber Data & Analytics function of Cybersecurity, spanning cybersecurity, data science, AI, and cloud engineering.

You will own end-to-end solution designs, maintain architecture artefacts, drive evaluation of an open-source data platform, and collaborate with multiple teams while contributing hands-on coding when required.

Qualifications

• Security architecture know-how including IAM, encryption, secure SDLC, threat modelling.
• Excellent communicator capable of balancing target architecture with delivery realities.
• Onsite in Sheffield 3 days/week (non-negotiable).

We're hiring a hands-on Technical Solution Engineer to join a Cyber Data & Analytics (CDA) function within Cybersecurity — a team spanning cybersecurity, data science, AI, and cloud engineering.

• Drive technology evaluation across an open-source, petabyte-scale data platform
