Job summary

Asda is seeking a Lead Manager for Customer Planning and Local Marketing. You will guide customer plans across key events, turning insights into actions that boost sales, satisfaction and market share. You will work across Marketing, Commercial, Retail Operations and Online to align priorities and drive business results.

In this hybrid role, you will lead a high-performing team, manage governance forums, and develop local marketing strategies to maximise store performance and customer impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in customer planning, local marketing, commercial planning or strategy within a large retail or FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of how marketing, trading and retail operations work together to drive sales and engagement.
• Proven ability to translate customer insights into actionable commercial plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimisation of customer plans aligned with key events and priorities.
• Translate insights and trends into clear commercial actions and marketing activities.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Trade Planning, Marketing, Retail Ops and Online teams to align priorities.
• Own annual, quarterly and weekly planning processes and governance.
• Lead local marketing strategies and supported store initiatives to maximise sales.
