Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Principal Radiographer for CT to lead, develop and operationally manage CT services across the Health Board. This senior role focuses on safe, high-quality, patient-centred CT services for Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

You will lead clinical and technical CT practice, drive service development, governance and performance, and ensure staffing and budgets align with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-site CT service.
• Knowledge of radiology governance and safety standards.
• Ability to develop and deliver service improvement plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead CT services across the Health Board and ensure consistent standards.
• Support annual plans, business cases, procurement, and replacement programmes.
• Oversee maintenance, quality assurance and radiation protection.
• Deliver governance, audit, risk management and performance oversight.
• Line manage staff and drive training and competence.
