Job summary

Rolls-Royce, based in Long Eaton, England, is seeking a Services Cost Officer within the Trent Fleet and Mature Engines Value Stream. The Cost Policy Officer - Trent 1000/7000 will define a robust cost strategy roadmap, baseline cost assumptions for existing and future business, and evaluate cost-reduction proposals affecting profitability and performance.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in a numerate or business discipline.
Strong analytical abilities and data modelling.
Experience with financial forecasting and cost management.
Excellent communication across global teams.
Aerospace knowledge advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Define cost strategy roadmap and policies for Trent 1000/7000.
Baseline cost assumptions for existing and future business.
Evaluate the business impact of cost-reduction proposals.
Forecast financial information to support development and improvement of forecasts.
Develop, deploy and support processes, tools, training and systems for credible plans balancing availability, cost and performance.
Collaborate across diverse and global teams.
