Allwyn UK in London is seeking a Communications Manager to join the Corporate Communications team. You will identify internal moments, tell the story, protect the reputation of Allwyn and The National Lottery, and build campaigns across Employee Brand, retailer support and social value programmes.

You will monitor media coverage, advise on responses, grow journalist relationships and craft multi-platform news stories that engage audiences while keeping pace with industry trends and emerging

Qualifications

• PR, media or journalism experience.
• Relationships with media outlets, particularly regional and trade press.
• Experience securing media coverage across different platforms.
• Understanding of modern media consumption and PR trends.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Can-do attitude with a proactive mindset.
• Creative storytelling across channels including social media.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle negative media enquiries.
• Basic understanding of data and analytics to inform PR plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify internal business moments to tell the Allwyn story and protect the National Lottery reputation.
• Source stories and determine primary channels for maximum impact.
• Monitor external coverage and advise on timely responses.
• Develop corporate comms campaigns (employee brand, retailers, social value, milestones).
• Grow relationships with media and journalists to secure balanced coverage.
• Create multi-platform news content and comment on Allwyn news.
• Stay current with journalist moves and industry trends.
• Collaborate with agencies and internal teams on press materials and calendars.
