National Grid Ventures seeks a Corporate Affairs Director to join the NGV UK Executive team, reporting to the NGV UK President. You will shape market opportunities, build senior partnerships, and translate policy into investable propositions across Europe.

The role leads corporate affairs strategy, external communications, media relations, and crisis planning, working with governments, TSOs, and industry partners to define Europe’s energy future.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in corporate affairs within a large, complex organisation.
• Experience in regulated environments with policy and regulatory interplay.
• Proven track record delivering corporate affairs strategies across diverse businesses.
• Excellent written and verbal communications with strong storytelling.

Responsabilités

• Advise the NGV UK President and leadership on strategy, reputation, and regulatory developments.
• Develop and deliver an integrated NGV UK Corporate Affairs and communications strategy.
• Lead media relations and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
• Represent National Grid Ventures at major European conferences, government summits, and industry forums.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, communities, investors, suppliers and partners.
• Oversee crisis communications and issues-management plans for NGV UK.
