Job summary

Department for Transport is seeking a TFM Contractual and Commercial Assurance Manager to lead and influence ALBs, service providers and stakeholders, ensuring contractual performance and compliance across a £43m annual TFM program.

The role requires resilient, independent working style with strong leadership to deliver on time and within governance standards. The GMT within Operational Estates coordinates the contract management function and drives continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: Promote collaborative working relationships across the contract and wider directorate; task manage the TFM Contractual and Commercial Assurance Coordinator.
• Oversee service delivery, ensuring contractual performance through partnership with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance, analyse service performance data, and recommend corrective actions for non-compliance.
• Manage data and KPIs, leading reviews and improvements to enhance performance visibility and alignment.
• Identify and mitigate risks, maintaining risk registers and leading resolution meetings across business units.
