Job summary

Breedon Group plc is a leading construction materials company in Great Britain, Ireland, and the USA, seeking a Commercial Manager to lead a Sales team within a geographic area and to drive sales and profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires a degree or equivalent experience, operational in a dynamic construction environment, and provides a pathway for performance-driven career progression within Breedon Group.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject and/or have extensive relevant experience operating at a senior level within a commercial role.
• Experience of the construction environment.
• Commercially focused and able to respond to improve outcomes and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the Commercial strategy including processes and procedures to win work and achieve sales targets.
• Provide superior customer service and drive business growth in line with objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers at appropriate levels.
• Secure targeted major opportunities and position Breedon as the market choice.
• Provide clients with material prices and technical information and manage enquiries.
• Coordinate with quarries to ensure material availability and effective communication.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales revenue reports and forecast,
