Job summary

National Lottery Community Fund is seeking a Communications Manager (Dormant Assets) to lead high-profile campaigns and work with government and senior stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of Dormant Assets funding across England.

The role focuses on two multi-million-pound programmes: The Community Wealth Fund and The Youth Enrichment Fund, delivering integrated, multi-channel communications that inspire participation and public trust in the Fund’s work.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a communications role within a complex organisational environment.
• Track record in planning and delivering integrated communications campaigns with matrix teams.
• Excellent content and copywriting abilities, able to adapt tone for different audiences and channels.
• Experience advising senior leaders and stakeholders, including in reputational risk situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep insight into programmes to implement effective communications plans.
• Design, develop and deliver messaging, narrative and content, including social and brand assets.
• Build relationships with government comms and policy counterparts and with Fund colleagues.
• Collaborate with media teams to deliver integrated activities and manage rapid responses to issues.
• Deliver high-impact campaigns across teams; some travel may be required.
