Job summary

The National Lottery Community Fund is seeking a Communications Manager on a fixed-term contract ending March 2028 in England. You will lead high-profile campaigns, engage with government and senior stakeholders, and demonstrate the impact of Dormant Assets funding across communities.

You will manage two major programmes and work across climate-focused, youth and community initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong public profile for the Fund and its partners.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in a communications role within a complex organisational environment.
Track record in planning and delivering integrated communications campaigns with matrix teams.
Excellent content and copywriting abilities, adaptable tone for different audiences and channels.

Responsibilities

Develop deep insight into the programmes to enable effective communications plans.
Design, develop, and deliver messaging, narrative and content for campaigns.
Build relationships with government comms, policy counterparts and colleagues across the Fund.
Work with the media team to deliver integrated activities and provide rapid responses to issues.
