Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a permanent full-time Communications and Marketing professional to join the Policy, Strategy & Engagement directorate. The role covers media relations, campaign planning, and digital content to promote council projects and services to residents, businesses and partners.

You will balance creativity with clear messaging, advise colleagues on communications, and work across teams to deliver impactful campaigns in a fast-moving local government

• Build relationships with partners and stakeholders across the borough
