Job summary

ACCA is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager on a full-time, fixed-term basis until September 2027. The role sits in the Financial Planning & Performance team with flexible location. You will provide strategic commercial advice, build robust financial models, and support investment decisions across ACCA’s portfolio.

You will influence senior stakeholders, manage discount governance, and collaborate with procurement while ensuring value for money and sustainable financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in multi-channel or high-volume customer settings.
• Ability to develop financial models from scratch tailored to task needs.
• Proven ability to influence colleagues at senior levels.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation to achieve goals.
• Direct experience delivering large-scale change (£10m+).
• Collaborative approach with senior stakeholders to challenge and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop fit-for-purpose financial models for multi-year strategic projects.
• Act as Finance gatekeeper for new business investment initiatives.
• Support financial/commercial discussions with external suppliers.
• Lead customer-focused modelling to generate actionable insights.
• Act as Secretary for the Discount Governance Group (DGG).
• Support wider Finance team to ensure efficient department operations.
