HDR is hiring a Project Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and financial performance of multi-disciplinary projects from bid to close-out. You will ensure cost control, accurate forecasting, and robust change management to protect margins and profitability.

The role requires proactive risk management, client-facing communication at senior levels, and a collaborative approach to deliver value and governance across complex projects.

Formación

• Extensive experience in commercial management of projects (minimum 10 years).
• Experience monitoring contract staff or third‑party appointments is desirable.
• Ability to lead and manage project teams with strong leadership.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and own project cost control plans, establishing baselines, budgets and KPIs.
• Monitor project expenditure against budget monthly and implement corrective actions.
• Challenge teams on resource utilisation, productivity, scope management and cost efficiency.
• Identify, quantify and document scope changes and additional services.
• Ensure all changes are communicated to clients and managed per contract.
• Maintain a change register and track commercial recovery.
• Lead cost reviews and commercial governance across projects.
• Provide early identification of cost overruns and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain cost-to-complete forecasts and EAC reporting.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and financial reporting.
