Job summary

British Airways is seeking an analytical professional to lead make-versus-buy analysis for Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) services. You will collaborate with Finance, procurement, safety, and compliance to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and deliver data-backed recommendations to senior leadership.

You will develop governance across E&M to ensure sourcing decisions are integrated from the outset and align with the business strategy. Strong PowerPoint presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Numerate degree or proven competence in a similar role.
• Experience in program management/consulting in technical or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience in makes-vs-buy analysis or similar procurement roles.
• Understanding of procurement, contract management and supplier governance.
• Experience building insights to drive decision making and presenting to senior leaders.
• Experience constructing presentations for senior management with PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Appraise service provision and establish make-vs-buy governance across E&M.
• Develop landscape of activities and contractual opportunities for opportunities.
• Identify opportunities and produce data-backed recommendations to Senior Leadership.
• Collaborate with Finance, IAG Procurement, safety and compliance to gather requirements.
• Track outcomes and conduct post-implementation reviews against objectives.
• Monitor market developments to inform sourcing strategies and capabilities.
