Job summary

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology in Bristol (Severn Beach area) is seeking a Commercial Contract Specialist to own day‑to‑day contract matters, support sales growth, and manage contractual risk in a highly collaborative environment.

You will serve as the primary commercial contracts partner to the Sales team, guiding contract structure, negotiating amendments, and ensuring alignment with business objectives while working with Legal, Finance, Sales and senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree; law background is an advantage.
3+ years’ experience drafting and evaluating contractual documents.

Responsibilities

Review and manage standard sales contracts in line with templates and processes.
Prepare and review NDAs, including renewal alerts and reporting.
Agree contract amendments, extensions, variations and customer correspondence.
Support Sales during contract negotiations and escalate risk/financial issues.
Advise on contract structure and content with pragmatic commercial approach.
Prepare Contract Risk Assessments for DoA approval with regional sales and Legal Counsel.
Manage full contract lifecycle including execution, renewals, amendments and record keeping.
Support Channel Partner management, tender risk reviews, ESPDs and onboarding with finance.
