Job summary
TTP, based at its Melbourn campus just south of Cambridge, seeks a Commercial Consultant to drive growth in the Advanced Surgical market. You will build client relationships, translate technical capability into commercial value, and work with scientists, engineers and leaders to shape compelling proposals.
We welcome candidates with strong technical backgrounds who want to develop commercially, and who can travel to meet clients and participate in strategic discussions.
Qualifications
- 2:1 degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
- Technical capability from demonstrable industry experience in a related field.
- Creative, sharp thinker with ability to translate technical context to commercial opportunities.
- Desire to build trusted client relationships with entrepreneurial mindset.
- Collaborative and proactive in connecting with stakeholders and clients.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a network of existing and prospective clients through in-person engagement.
- Develop opportunities by aligning client priorities with TTP capabilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to shape proposals and scopes balancing technical ambition and value.
- Increase TTP visibility within the Advanced Surgical market via events and networks.
- Lead commercial discussions from opportunities through to contracts.
- Identify emerging opportunities and energise the team to explore new areas.
