Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council in Hamilton is seeking an Operations Manager within the Hamilton Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) on a permanent basis. You will line-manage frontline Social Work staff to undertake assessment and care management responsibilities and oversee Mental Health Officers carrying out statutory functions.

The role requires knowledge of Self Directed Support, Assessment and Care Management, and you will report to the Fieldwork Manager, working collaboratively with other CMHT

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Officer and Council Officer.
• At least two years’ experience in the role.
• Knowledge of Assessment, Self-Directed Support, Risk assessment, discharge coordination.

Responsibilities

• Line manage front line Social Work staff to undertake assessment and care management responsibilities.
• Line manage Mental Health Officers carrying out statutory functions.
• Collaborate with CMHT and Fieldwork Manager and other teams; understand Self Directed Support processes.
