Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Lead Architect to drive strategic technology initiatives and coordinate solution design across multiple domains. You will shape architecture roadmaps, collaborate with business analysts, and guide delivery teams to align with high-level designs.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in solution design, Azure cloud services, and governance-driven architecture. Flexible/remote work options are available and AWS/Oracle/Red Hat accreditations are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and architecting technical solutions across database, backend, integration and UX.
• Strong influencing skills and experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to produce concise solution designs aligned with governance and strategy.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure platform services, cloud-native solutions and hybrid-cloud migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead architect or co-architect on strategic projects including procurement and software development initiatives.
• Gather business requirements with analysts and define non-functional requirements.
• Design tech solutions aligned with standards and strategy across architecture domains.
• Present designs to governance forums and develop architecture roadmaps with enterprise architects.
• Coordinate implementation with delivery teams and ensure alignment with high-level designs.
• Provide guidance to colleagues through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Contribute to architecture standards and reusable patterns.
• Manage relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
