Job summary

Katie Bard is seeking a commercially minded Project Manager to lead acquisitions and business integration initiatives in a rapidly growing professional services firm. You will partner with the Head of PMO, Head of Integration and senior leadership to keep multiple strategic initiatives moving and provide a firm-wide view of progress.

The role spans people, operations, client delivery, finance and compliance, requiring strong governance, risk management and communication with Board-level

Qualifications

• PM experience in a legal or professional services environment.
• Experience managing business change or integration projects (not solely IT).
• Experience coordinating multiple projects or interdependent workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk, dependencies and benefits realisation.
• Ability to create structure, establish accountability and maintain momentum across complex projects.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering board-level reporting.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with PM/portfolio-management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a portfolio of acquisition, integration and business-change projects.
• Support acquisition activity from pre-completion through Day One to full integration.
• Create and maintain project plans, roadmaps, milestones, RAID and decision logs.
• Link workstreams, define responsibilities, deadlines and dependencies.
• Monitor progress and challenge delays or unclear ownership.
• Identify operational risks and resource constraints across the firm.
• Provide concise, decision-focused updates for senior leaders and Board.
• Track benefits, synergies and integration outcomes.
• Establish governance and reporting standards for projects.
• Improve PMO dashboards, templates and ways of working.
• Leverage project-management tech and AI to enhance visibility.
