Job summary

VWFS UK is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead to head a team of Senior Project Managers and contractors, delivering a complex portfolio of strategic programmes. You will shape the portfolio, drive delivery excellence and collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate ambition into outcomes.

You will provide strategic leadership across delivery, manage risks and dependencies, and oversee governance, reporting and workforce planning to ensure successful delivery of major business

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale programmes and complex change portfolios.
• Proven ability to lead senior project delivery teams and contractors.
• Delivery of programmes within scope, budget, timescales and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the strategic change portfolio and delivery of complex initiatives.
• Provide visible leadership across Project Delivery, driving accountability and excellence.
• Shape portfolio strategy, priorities and governance to manage risks and dependencies.
• Act as senior escalation point to remove barriers and maintain momentum.
• Develop governance, reporting and transparency across portfolio performance.
• Lead strategic workforce planning and resource deployment for delivery.
• Mobilise and lead time-critical programmes with clear ownership and governance.
• Partner with Executive teams to translate strategy into outcomes.
