Community Academies Trust (CAT) seeks an exceptional Deputy CEO (Finance and Operations) to act as Chief Finance Officer and Company Secretary. The role leads finance, HR, operations, estates, IT, data protection, and risk, guiding long-term financial planning and governance.

A values-led, strategic communicator, the appointee will support the CEO to ensure clarity, confidence and care across CAT's schools.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise.
• Significant senior leadership experience in large organisations.
• Proven track record of leading people, resources, systems and change.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, HR, operations, estates, IT, data protection, health and safety, compliance and risk.
• Provide strategic leadership and long-term financial planning with governance assurance.
• Represent the Trust with confidence and build strong relationships across stakeholders.
