Job summary

National Wealth Fund is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO, Board and Executive Committee, shaping financial strategy, performance and the Fund’s long‑term sustainability. The CFO will lead balance sheet management, capital allocation and governance, while representing the Fund with government, investors and the market.

The role requires high‑level financial leadership experience, deep commercial judgement, and the ability to drive value across a growing investment

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience at a CFO level or breadth comparable to CFO roles.
• Balance sheet and capital management expertise with credible portfolio-level oversight.
• Strong investment judgement and strategic decision-making across a portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Advise the CEO, Board and Executive Committee on strategy, performance and long-term value creation.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting and performance management with robust insight.
• Oversee capital allocation, balance sheet development and investment performance.
• Ensure governance, risk management and regulatory compliance across the Fund.
• Represent the Fund with Ministers, HM Treasury, investors and other senior stakeholders.
