Job summary

National Wealth Fund is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer to shape the financial strategy and oversee performance and long‑term sustainability. As a Board and Executive Committee member, the CFO will drive capital management, governance and reporting while ensuring the Fund’s capital is deployed effectively.

Reporting to the CEO, you will engage with government, regulators and investors, build a high‑performing finance function, and act as a credible external ambassador for the Fund.

Qualifications

• Substantial senior finance leadership experience in banking, investment, or similar institutions.
• Experience as a strategic partner to CEO, Board and Executive Committee.
• Strong capability in capital allocation and balance sheet management.

Responsibilities

• Shape financial strategy, performance and long-term sustainability.
• Lead balance sheet, capital management, governance and controls.
• Deliver robust financial insight to inform major investments.
• Represent the Fund to Ministers, HM Treasury and investors.
