Job summary

National Wealth Fund is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO and Board, shaping financial strategy, performance and long-term sustainability of the Fund. The CFO will lead across governance, capital management and reporting, while representing the Fund to government, markets and the investment community.

The role demands senior finance leadership, deep balance sheet expertise, and the ability to drive growth and value creation within a sophisticated investment organisation.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience at CFO level or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of balance sheet and capital management.
• Strong investment/portfolio perspective with risk and return insight.

Responsibilities

• Advise CEO/Board on strategy, performance and long-term value creation.
• Lead capital allocation, portfolio optimisation and balance sheet development.
• Oversee financial governance, controls and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the Fund to Ministers, HM Treasury, investors and regulators.
• Develop finance systems and reporting frameworks for informed Board decisions.
