Job summary

Sheer Jobs Ltd. seeks a procurement professional to lead end-to-end strategies for a nominated category in the public sector, collaborating with Category Specialists and stakeholders to achieve value for money and compliance.

The role requires strong data analysis, negotiation and contract drafting skills, with experience in procurement planning and legislation. Hybrid working with one day on site per month is provided.

• Analyse, interpret and present data for diverse audiences with risk assessment.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with strong organisation and time management.

• Interpersonal/communication skills including report writing and ability to supervise and motivate others.
• Ability to negotiate and influence to deliver outcomes.
• Work at senior levels within an organisation and with various stakeholders under tension or conflict.
• Interpret local and national policies and assess procurement impact.
• Draft contracts and contract-related information.
